However, they are now dealing with the trauma and aftermath of his abduction and attempted murder of team leader David Rossi and his fatal shooting of FBI Deputy Director Bailey. The emergence of a new UNSUB focuses the team's efforts, leading them to controversially start using Voit to help catch this serial killer, aka Gold Star.
