Enjoy a story any time, with the Library District's new Storyline! 

Just dial 520-457-5200, and press 1 to hear a story for kids, or press 2 to hear a short reading for adults.  New stories are added every Tuesday.

The Library District's Eat Local project is all about local food!  Visit the Eat Local website for local resources and upcoming Big Read events.

The library is currently offering computer access and grab-and-go browsing.  Access is limited to two visitors at a time, and face masks are required.  Browsing may last up to 20 minutes, and computer use up to 45 minutes.  

The library continues to offer a wide range of services outside the building, including curbside pickup for library materials, mobile printing, and copy/fax service.  

Library wi-fi is available outside the building from 6 am to 8 pm daily, and the library has laptops available for outside use.  Library ebooks and digital materials are available 24/7.

Portal's Myrtle Kraft Library

The Myrtle Kraft Library, in Portal, is a branch of the Cochise County Library District.  The Branch Manager is Kathleen Talbot.  

The library offers a wide selection of library materials for all ages, and provides access to items from other public libraries across Cochise County. The library also hosts a range of special programs for adults and children. 

The library also has available for checkout 10 "Creativity in a Box" hands-on activity kits with all the materials you need to do things like grow microgreens, create greeting cards or other paper crafts, program a Sphero robot, and more.
